Ashland Administrators, AMS Principal, Steve Retzlaff, and AMS Assistant Principal, Katherine Holden, recently presented at the COSA Seaside conference to education leaders from across Oregon.
Steve and Katherine presented, “Grading for Equity in Action: How to Transform the Learning Currency” and filled the room! The presentation focused on transparent tools to empower students to clearly identify and set individual learning targets in every class, self-assess their progress, and adjust as needed to achieve.
Katherine was also honored as NASSP Assistant Principal of the Year 2022. She is moving on to the Principal position at Talent Middle School beginning in August.
