The Board reduced requirements on teachers for the current school year by approving a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) specifying abbreviated evaluations in alignment with the Department of Education and revised state rules. The MOA with the Ashland Education Association outlines a revised approach to evaluation of contract teachers this year. There are exceptions for probationary teachers (in their first three years of teaching) and teachers on plans of assistance. See the full agreement HERE.
