Want to get paid to work outside, learn, and make the world a better place? Join Lomakatsi to restore the forests and streams of the Rogue Valley this summer! Using the Ashland Watershed as an outdoor classroom, you'll work on a variety of stewardship projects, build valuable job skills, and learn about career paths in ecology and natural resources. Under the guidance of Lomakatsi's professional restoration staff and educators - as well as through daily guest presentations by natural resource specialists - you will take part in a large range of ecological subjects. Work hard, have fun, build your resume, make new friends, and get paid! This is a 4 week long paid program with hands-on restoration learning experience for 16 to 18 year olds in the Rogue Valley. Tickets will be sold at lunch on Thursday, May 22nd, Wednesday May 28th, and Thursday May 29th. Tickets are $20. This event happens June 6th from 10:00 pm to 2:30 am at the Family Fun Center. Transportation will be by bus, and no students may take other means of transportation to get to this event. Senior All Night is happening Friday, June 6th at the Family Fun Center! This event will run from 10:00 pm to 2:30 am and school buses will provide transportation to and from event (students are not allowed to use separate forms of transportation). Tickets are $20 and will be sold in front of the theater building during lunch on Thursday - May 22nd, Wednesday - May 28th, and Thursday - May 29th. Students who have filled out and turned in a family income survey will have tickets available in the main office.

The much anticipated Mayfaire is coming back on Sunday, May 18th from 1:00-4:00 pm. This event is a fun for all carnival experience, and also one of the largest PTA fundraisers of the year. Please sign up for one (or more!) volunteer slot. Remember, a person does NOT need to be cleared by the District to volunteer for this event, so consider asking other family members such as partners and grandparents to volunteer as well.
