It will begin in the main gym at 5:30 pm, continue with community on the quad from 5:45 to 6:15, and then a tour of student classes will go from 6:20 to 8:00 pm. We hope to see you there.   The AHS club fair is happening this week on Tuesday and Thursday during TCB. 9th and 10th graders will meet on the quad on Tuesday and 11th and 12th graders will come on Thursday. Clubs, if you would like to participate, please go to the main office to get your club form and to turn it in to get signed. If you do not get this form approved by the end of the day, you will not be able to participate in the club fair. Hey seniors! If you want to paint jeans to celebrate your senior year, come during Tuesday TCB to the commons. Bring a pair of jeans and your friends! This will be a fun bonding activity for seniors. We hope you have an amazing year!   The AHS Student Tutor Center is up and running again this year. All students are welcome to come to the IVC after school on Mondays from 3:00-4:00 or Wednesdays from 2:40-3:40. Student Tutors are available to help in any subject, or students can use the STC as a gathering place to study with friends. Come by and check it out! ALL are welcome. The STC is sponsored by the Ashland Schools Foundation. Parking Passes are due September 30th. You can pick up the application form in the main office, which you will need to turn in with a copy of your driver's license and up to date car insurance. Students parking in the student lot after September 30th without a parking pass will be stickered. Parking in numbered staff spots is not allowed all year long and will also result in your car getting stickered.   2024-2025 Yearbooks are now available for pre-order! The fall water polo season is going until mid-November. Regular practices take place at the Ashland YMCA pool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30. Become part of a winning team as well as a fun, supportive community. Open to students grades 9-12. All skill levels welcome and scholarships are available! You can add personalizations like your name and free school logos. AHS Students, If you would like to park in the student parking lot on Mountain Avenue, you must turn in a parking pass form. Forms can be picked up in the main office. They need a parent's signature and a copy of your driver's license and non-expired car insurance. The deadline to turn in this form will be September 30th. Parking in the student lot without a student parking pass will result in your vehicle getting stickered. Parking in staff numbered spots is prohibited year round and will also result in your vehicle getting stickered.

At Ashland High School, we are committed to maintaining a cell phone-free environment in our classrooms. Personal cell phones, watches, and other devices are the responsibility of the student and families. AHS is not responsible for lost or damaged devices that students choose to bring. Students are expected to turn in their cell phones, powered off, to the designated cell phone receptacles at the beginning of each class. Additionally, there will be no cell phone usage during restroom breaks. All other smart devices are expected to be off and away during class time. This policy ensures that students remain focused and engaged in their learning throughout the school day. However, we understand there are exceptions for emergencies, medical needs, and family contact. For these, please contact the front office for assistance. If a student violates the cell phone policy, the teacher will confiscate the device and the student may pick it up from the main office at the end of the day. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a focused learning environment for all students.

An update from the counseling office: The counseling office is only seeing students that have no schedule, no class ("see counselor"), the wrong level class, an AP class they didn't complete homework for, and during an out period. For all other schedule changes, please come see us before school, during lunch, or after school. The last day for schedule changes is Wednesday, September 4th.
