February 15th was Student Resource Officer Appreciation Day! While we missed celebrating our SRO, Officer Bates, this Saturday, we made the time to celebrate him this week instead! Here he is posing with our poster made by AHS Leadership. Our School Resource Officers serve as an important bridge between youth, law enforcement, and the communities they serve.

Did you know that Ashland High School has a competitive robotics team? Formed in 2009, AHS Robotics Team 3024 competes each year in the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition. Each year, our team builds a 140 lbs robot, able to complete tasks in that years challenge. We travel to Salem and Wilsonville, to compete with hundreds of teams in the Pacific Northwest Regional Events, for the chance to compete in the International Championship. Our team is completely self-funded. All donations benefit the students directly, covering event registration, student transportation, and hotel costs for the whole season! Check out the website for info on how to donate & get involved! Contact Us at info.team3024@gmail.com
