It’s been a special couple of weeks celebrating our senior soccer players as both our boys and girls teams honored their seniors! We’re so proud of these athletes and all the hard work, dedication, and memories they’ve brought to our soccer programs. ❤️
Now it’s time for the postseason! Both teams are heading into the playoffs this week, and we’d love to see our community come out and cheer them on!

📣 Homecoming Spirit Was in Full Swing at AHS! 🏈
Last weekend was full of school spirit at Ashland High School! From Friday’s homecoming assembly to an exciting night under the lights, our Grizzlies had plenty to celebrate.
Students and staff came together at the assembly to show their school pride before cheering on the Grizzlies at Friday night’s homecoming football game. The team capped off the evening with an impressive 62–28 victory! 🏈🎉

💗🚲 Riding for a cause! Randi Nash, a kindergarten teacher at Bellview Elementary, and her team hit the road for a 22-mile bike ride to raise awareness for breast cancer, raising nearly $1,000 along the way!
The team wore shirts printed by Ashland High School’s screenprinting program, taught by Kris Prusko. Prusko's students print shirts for events throughout our district, building real-world skills while providing an affordable option for school and community groups. It's a great example of our schools and community working together!
🎭 Learning Comes to Life at OSF!
Ninth graders in Ronan Dunphy’s class were among the many Ashland High School students who have had the opportunity to experience live theater at our very own Oregon Shakespeare Festival!
Thanks to the support of the Ashland Schools’ Foundation, several groups of AHS students have been able to attend performances and experience the power of storytelling right here in our community.
This group attended a matinee of Come From Away, the moving musical based on the true story of the thousands of airline passengers diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, on September 11, 2001. The show celebrates the compassion, generosity, and humanity that emerged as a community welcomed strangers in an extraordinary moment in history.
We’re grateful to the Ashland Schools’ Foundation for helping make these meaningful cultural experiences possible for our students! ❤️

Keep Homer Alive! It’s Homer-o-stasis!
Things got intense in McKael Kenfield’s Anatomy and Physiology class during the annual Keep Homer Alive challenge! 🎯
The goal? Keep Homer-o-stasis! In this high-pressure simulation, Ms. Kenfield introduces viruses while students work together to keep their “patient” stable and maintain homeostasis—the body’s ability to regulate its internal environment.
It takes teamwork, quick thinking, and a solid understanding of human physiology to keep Homer alive!

❤️ Celebrating the People Who Make Ashland Schools Special! 🐻
Ashland High School recently welcomed retired staff back for a special celebration filled with delicious treats, warm conversations, and plenty of Grizzly memories!
Our talented students prepared an irresistible spread of cookies, mini tarts, tiny muffins, and more under the expert guidance of Maryetta Jacques, whose wonderful eye for presentation made the treats as beautiful as they were delicious.
Retired and current staff mingled, shared stories, and reconnected as we honored the educators and staff members who have shaped generations of Ashland students. Some of our retirees began their careers in the 1960s—a remarkable legacy of dedication and service to our community!
From the students who baked with care to the colleagues who came together to celebrate, the gathering was a beautiful reminder that being part of Ashland Schools means belonging to a community that spans generations.

The Ashland Boys Soccer team is undefeated (7–0) this season and currently ranked #2 in the OSAA 5A rankings! 🐻⚽
Seven games, seven wins, and a whole lot of teamwork, determination, and Grizzly spirit.

• The office will hold the phone, and an
Administrator will inform parents.
• The phone will be returned to the student at the
end of the day.
Second Violation
• The teacher will collect the phone and notify the
office.
• Phones will only be returned directly to a parent
or guardian.
• The student will also receive a cell phone
behavior contract.
Third Violation
• The teacher will collect the phone and notify the
office.
• The phone must be picked up by a parent or
guardian.
• The student will receive 1 day of In School
Suspension (ISS).
