Students and families that registered for our Ashland High School Summer Learning Program which is taking place Monday through Thursday, August 3-20, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m should have received an email with all the details of the program and the daily schedule.
This summer's theme is "Exploring Your Story." Throughout the three-week program, students will strengthen foundational academic skills, explore their interests, build relationships, and reflect on the experiences, strengths, and goals that shape who they are. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment that supports academic growth while helping students begin the 2026-27 school year feeling connected, confident, and ready to succeed.

What is Juneteenth? Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates June 19th, 1865, the day Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, to inform enslaved African American that they were free -- more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Grads must be at the AHS bus ramp by 10 PM. Grads will be checked in and loaded on buses with a departure for the Family Fun Center at 10:30 PM. No one is allowed to drive or be dropped off at Family Fun Center. The only mode of transportation to and from the event is by bus.
Buses will depart the Family Fun Center at 2 am, so you can expect to be back at AHS by 2:30 am.
No bags/purses or water bottles are allowed. There is plenty of food and drinks available at the event. Sweatshirts/Jackets are allowed.
