Drop by and have a snack, play games, craft, listen to music, chat and chill. Bring a friend or just show up. If you have any questions, come by the main office. Ashland Reads is back! On Wednesday May 3rd from 9:25 AM to 11:30 AM, all district first graders will be on campus for the annual Ashland Reads “celebration of literacy put on by Rotary Club of Ashland and Rotary Club of Ashland Lithia Springs. Our first graders will be so excited to be on campus - please remember to be great role models. Last home game of the season for boys volleyball! Come support with our star wars theme game on May 4th. First game starts at 6pm and second game at 7:30pm! Attention Seniors: If you ordered a cap and gown between March 1st to April 28th, your cap and gown will be arriving on May 5th! Come join us on the quad at lunch on Wednesday April 26 to make an egg carton planter to be able to plant a native seedling wherever you may choose! Hope to see you there!! These alternative programs provide project-based and experiential-based education in a small group setting for 3 periods of your Ashland High School schedule. English, social studies and science credits may be earned for Thoreau for 9th and 10th graders and those plus Family Health and PE are also available in Catalyst for 11th and 12th graders. Its only 24 minutes--see if you can keep up with today's teenagers!  Ashland Varsity and JV both made the final two in last months competition, so both will be on TV on Sunday.  Varsity plays Sacred Heart Home School, who got the highest score anyone can remember last month, so our kids are a little intimidated!  JV plays Grants Pass, which was a tight match last time.
Varsity took 2nd Place in Tuesday ’s competition. - JV took 1st place. - Ashland High School took 2nd Place for the season! Please congratulate all of our members!

We had another successful day at Math Team yesterday and a great finish to the season!    Varsity took 2nd Place in yesterday’s competition.                     Quinn Yockey, Samuel Ding, Andy Eskenazi, Oliver Jamieson, Lewis Eibner, and Marnie Francisco  JV took 1st place. Ashland School Board Innovation Committees Ashland Families, Students, and Community Members - The Ashland School Board recently voted to create a series of Innovation Committees focused on some key areas that are of great importance to the district's operations and strategic plan. These committees will gather information and present their ideas to the Ashland School Board. We are seeking those with skills, insights, and broad perspectives to help envision schools for the future for ALL Ashland children. At this time, the three committees we are moving forward with are: • Calendar and Schedule; • Re-imagining High School; and • Enrollment: Attracting New Children and Families to Ashland. Two meetings will be held this year and work will be scheduled to continue next fall. Committees will be comprised of a number of constituent groups including community members, family members, teachers, administrators, and students. Snowboard Team Medals at State Championship! Congratulations to the AHS Snowboard Team for their amazing success at the State Competitions at Mt. Hood a few weeks ago!!! The Varsity boys team took 3rd place overall out of 23 schools, and with over 150 total state championship qualified competitors. They took first place in banked slalom and second in slopestyle. Senior, Zahara Palma-Brown, took first place in slopestyle and had three total podiums out of the four events. Senior, Charlie Sherman, took first in banked slalom and had as individual and team combined 5 podiums. Other stand out podium riders were Marcel Ruby, Alder Sheppard, Wilson Wildman, Rogue Kirkwood, Roman Albertelli, Bodhi Wier and Cohen Dunbrasky.
