Our amazing 8th Graders went on a bike adventure during Bike-A-Thon to celebrate their last days at Willow Wind.

We had a super fun BIKE-A-THON today - Thanks to the WWCA, Kali Krum and all of the dedicated volunteers who made it happen. Willow Wind raised $10,000 to support our projects!

Today was our last GARDEN LUNCH of this school year. The 5th graders picked the lettuce in the morning. Students loved the food and we had Erica Thompson from ASF as a visitor. Thanks ASF for helping us!

Yesterday we had our first GARDEN LUNCH - Lunch from the garden, prepped and served by students and parents. So much fun! Thanks to ASF for helping us get started.

A beautiful day for volleyball! THANK YOU to ASF for helping us purchase a net for the students at Willow Wind. They are having a lot of fun learning new skills.

On Friday the 7th and 8th grade students hosted a MAKE A DIFFERENCE FAIR and taught the younger students how about sustainable practices. Making the world a better place through education at Willow Wind.

Ashland School Board Innovation Committees Ashland Families, Students, and Community Members - The Ashland School Board recently voted to create a series of Innovation Committees focused on some key areas that are of great importance to the district's operations and strategic plan. These committees will gather information and present their ideas to the Ashland School Board. We are seeking those with skills, insights, and broad perspectives to help envision schools for the future for ALL Ashland children. At this time, the three committees we are moving forward with are: • Calendar and Schedule; • Re-imagining High School; and • Enrollment: Attracting New Children and Families to Ashland. Two meetings will be held this year and work will be scheduled to continue next fall. Committees will be comprised of a number of constituent groups including community members, family members, teachers, administrators, and students. Farm Stand is back! Students are excited to share their work with you. Come check us out at our booth after school on Fridays. Plant starts will be for sale. Students have started these from seed and have been caring for them each week.

The Change Maker March was Wednesday - Kids wanting to make the world better!

Yesterday Kouba's Kindergarten Class went to AHS to work with high school students and build planters from wood. Thanks to AHS, Mark Miller and all of the Woodshop Students for a very fun day!
