We celebrated the last of last season's garden garlic by making garlic bread in the Greenhouse Classroom. Nothing like a warm garlicky snack on a cold rainy day!

🚍🍎📚 Shoutout to Our Amazing Classified Employees! 🙌💙
Behind every smooth school day, there’s a team of hardworking heroes making it happen! 🏫✨
To our bus drivers who get students to and from school safely, our food service staff who serve up nourishment with a smile, our educational assistants who support learning in every way, and every incredible custodian, office staff, and tech specialist who keeps things running—YOU make a difference every single day! 👏
Your dedication, kindness, and hard work don’t go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students and staff alike! 💛 #ThankAClassifiedEmployee #SchoolHeroes #WeAppreciateYou

Our class garden beds are getting ready for spring in the Garden Classroom.

This week the Ornithology Class was able to observe California Scrub-Jays and Red-winged Blackbirds at our pond and a kettle of Turkey Vultures riding a thermal current in the distance. We used our binoculars to identify feather markings on the birds and listened to their different songs.

A friendly reminder that Wednesday, March 5 is a school day for all K-12 students!

The rainbow over Willow Wind today!

📣📣📣 Please help us spread the word!!
We have openings in all employment areas for substitutes!

Final Rehearsal for the 6th Grade Greek Plays tomorrow!

Today we learned that 2 cubic yards of granite gravel can weigh around 5,600 pounds or 2.8 tons! Luckily, the 6th graders enthusiastically worked together to make a new floor for our greenhouse possible.

The new shed is assembled. Thanks very much to the WWCA and Willow Wind Families who contributed to the Bike-A-Thon last year for purchasing the new "Dana Shed" to hold sports equipment for lots of active fun!

THANK YOU to our amazing Willow Wind Community for helping to make this year’s food drive a huge success! Families donated 1,956 items to the Ashland Community Food Bank, breaking last year’s record of 1,786 items. This amounts to 1,264 pounds of food! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
