We are very excited about another year of Interscholastic Sports.   At AMS we offer a no-cut policy and encourage all students to come out for sports.  This is a great opportunity to try something new, make new friends, and be involved in an after school activity.  Teams practice daily after school and travel to compete against other middle schools in Southern Oregon. 

Season Dates

The following sports are offered at AMS:

Fall:    Girls Volleyball (7th & 8th graders)                                                                                                                                         
              Football (7th & 8th graders)                                                                                                                                            
              Cross Country (6th, 7th & 8th grade)

Winter: Boys & Girls Basketball (7th & 8th grade)
Wrestling (6th, 7th, & 8th grade)
                                           
 Spring: Track & Field (6th, 7th & 8th grade)

In order to participate, all athletes must register on FamilyID and have a sports physical by a physician or a nurse practitioner every two years.  

Note:  For students living outside of the Ashland School District, sports and activities will have a $50.00 fee, with a $200 maximum for each child and $400 maximum for each family.
