Counselor Spotlight

This year, Chloe Lewis serves as the Child Development Specialist (school counselor) at Ashland Middle School. Chloe supports students’ social, emotional, and academic growth and partners closely with families and staff throughout the school year.

She is passionate about helping students navigate friendships, emotions, and the many changes that come with middle school.

“Middle school is such a pivotal time. Students are learning who they are and how to connect with others, and it’s incredibly meaningful to support them during that process.”

With over a decade of experience in education, Chloe has seen firsthand the importance of creating safe, supportive environments for students. Her background as both an educator and a parent has strengthened her commitment to student advocacy, relationship-building, and mental health support. She enjoys working with students individually and in small groups.

This year, Chloe is excited to introduce a new program at AMS called Passages, designed to support teen girls around shared experiences and common themes.

Outside of school, Chloe values time with her family and enjoys staying connected to her community.

“I truly believe that when students feel supported and understood, they are better able to thrive.”

We are grateful for Chloe’s dedication and the care she brings to our students each day. Happy National School Counseling Week!
