🚵 The Ashland High School mountain biking season is officially underway, and the team is off to a strong start!
The Oregon Interscholastic Cycling League's 2026 season kicked off in Salem at the Old Oak Prologue, a time trial held on the scenic 490-acre Left Coast Estate. Riders tackled a challenging 4.5-mile course featuring approximately 500 feet of climbing per lap.
Ashland High School riders compete as part of the Rogue Composite Vultures, and the South Conference racers made an impressive showing in the season opener.

The team heads next to Madras on September 13, where riders will take on longer courses as the season ramps up. Varsity and HS3 riders will complete four 4-mile laps, while HS1 riders will tackle three 4-mile laps.
