The front of Walker School on Walker Avenue is referred to as our "ecotone." The area is constantly ongoing revisions to meet goals established by the ecotone committee:

• A safe identifiable front to the school
• A sustainable environment with an affordable maintenance contract
• An active science lab for learning about nature
• A passive learning area where individuals can self-guide through information
• A place of beauty with a whimsical art theme
