Happy Friday! I hope that you are all well. I am excited at the thought of having hybrid classes on campus on March 29! Teachers and staff are all hard at work in preparation. Plus, Spring Break is coming up too! There is a lot to be excited about.
Thank you to everyone that responded to our Hybrid Survey. We are nearly finished in our work sorting students into Groups A and B. We are doing our best to ensure that both groups are roughly equal in size and also to balance the number of students that will physically be attending individual classes in both groups. We expect to be able to share student group assignments with families early next week.
There are still about 180 students that we do not have survey results for. We will be assigning these students to CDL unless we get survey results for these students by early next week. We have sent survey results multiple times to the email addresses we have on file. Make sure to check Spam folders if you haven’t received yours. Please call the office if you need help with getting a survey link.
Next week we will also host campus tours for ninth graders and students new to AHS. Karl Kemper has done a great job organizing this and he has been in communication with these families to set this up. Please only send your student to the tour for their assigned day and time. We look forward to showing them around our campus!
Please see the map below for information on how student drop off/arrival will work once hybrid begins. We are strongly encouraging families follow the suggested drop off areas for each class on the map to give students the most direct route to their class.
We look forward to our new upcoming chapter of the school year. We will communicate more details next week.
