Principal's Update

Hello Grizzlies!

I hope that you are all well. There is quite a bit going on at AHS at the moment. First of all, we have our conferences on Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully you have already signed up for your Zoom conference. If not, please see below for instructions on how to do that.

In addition, we have included a step-by-step process for you to locate the Zoom links for each conference that you have signed up for. Please find those steps below as well. On Monday, if you run into any problems, please give the front office a call, 541-482-8771 and someone can help you locate your conference link.

Early next week we will be sending out to all families an email with details about the AHS hybrid plan. Hybrid instruction will begin on March 29. The email will contain information about our slightly altered bell schedule and other important details. Also, we will have a link embedded for a very important survey so that families can tell us if their student will attend classes via hybrid or continue their classes through comprehensive distance learning. This information will be important to us so that we can plan appropriately.

Next week we will also host a Hybrid Information Night via Zoom on Thursday 3/4 from 6:00-6:45 and a Spanish version on Friday 3/5 from 6:00-6:45. This will be a webinar style presentation where we can explain the schedule in more detail and answer some questions. Our goal is to provide good information so that everyone feels confident in knowing what hybrid will look like at AHS this spring. We will provide the link to the Hybrid Information Night via email.

That’s it for now. We will be communicating with you all quite a bit next week.

Take care,

Benjamin Bell
