I hope this week’s Grizz O’Gram finds you safe and cared for. I continue to be amazed by the degree of support that our community has shown for those that have been impacted by the recent fires. I have been happy to have our campus host the donation center that teachers, Trish Dorr and Tia McLean, have organized with the help of many other staff, students and community members. It has been tremendously successful with so many donations. Thank you to all that donated time and to those that donated items to support our community. It has been truly inspiring!
I also want to recognize the support that Ashland Schools Foundation has provided to our staff and students. They have provided thousands of dollars worth of donated gift cards for our families in the district that lost homes and also provided monetary support to staff that lost homes. Truly amazing!
As you all know by now, we are starting school again on Monday, September 21st. Students will need to check their emails this weekend for a link from their Advisory teacher. Seniors will have a link and time sent to them separately, since 12th graders do not have Advisory class. On Monday, all students will be trained on how to use Canvas. Please refer to the schedule here in the Grizz O’Gram for Monday and Tuesday’s bell schedules. Both will be minimum days. The schedules are also posted on the website.
Students, we look forward to welcoming you back. We have missed you. AHS stands ready to make the most out of this year and provide you a strong education and as many opportunities as we possibly can.Sincerely,
