Ashland School District No. 5, Jackson County, Oregon - The Budget Committee met in a work session on January 5, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ashland School District Board Room. Present were:

I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chair Barth.
II. Roll Check
A roll of the Committee was taken and all members were present.
III. Discuss Development of 2006-07 Budget
Rick Barth presented a PowerPoint presentation on a financial analysis of the district.
A discussion was held regarding the legal use of Youth Activity Levy Funds. Juli Di Chiro will gather information on Measure 5 which guides the use of those funds.
Following a brief discussion, Pam Lucas will provide the Free and Reduced Lunch Program income guide to committee members.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. in the District Board Room to review an expense model, some initial benchmarks, and the enhanced revenue model.
