Advisory

Advisory is meant to be an opportunity for students to learn various skills related to their grade-level. Students will be assigned an Advisory Teacher and work with them throughout their high school career.

Office Hours

Ashland High School utilizes a special class period (period 4 and 8) called Office Hours (it was previously called TCB) to offer students an opportunity to meet with teachers. During this time students may check in with teachers, counselors, or the library for support. Students may also use this time to study, catch up on homework, take tests or quizzes, or work with peers on upcoming projects.

Applied Learning

Applied learning is an open time for students to work on projects during the school day. This time is set aside for students to collaborate with their peers or work independently
